A reliable approach is to raise your shield when you enter the arena and approach the first group of summon signs.It is easier to dodge on Torrent, but is possible to outrun on foot if you run directly perpendicular to Radahn. The arrow barrage Radahn fires in the air ('Radahn's Rain') will also home in on you.The first two groups of summon signs are behind such debris. Debris on the battlefield will block the arrows once, as the arrow will destroy the debris instead of hitting the player.As always, rolling toward the source of a projectile will make it easier to dodge. The arrows home so accurately that they are usually not possible to dodge without the use of i-frames, such as rolling or mounting/dismounting Torrent.

Radahn is an optional boss, and doesn't need to be defeated in order to advance in Elden Ring.

Starscourge Radahn is heralded as one of the mightiest living demigods, having fought Malenia the Severed to a standstill during the war of the Shattering. Azur is of course the creator of the iconic Azur’s Comet, while Lusat is hidden away somewhere in Caelid. Eventually, she will talk about the spells of sorcery masters, like Master Azur and Master Lusat. Sellen won’t even be nice to you if you don’t have a high enough INT stat, but return to her often and raise your INT and she will take you seriously.

This will be one of few places where you can buy sorceries for the majority of the game. Once defeated, you can find Sorceress Sellen through the door. Once you descend into the ruins, you’ll find a Mad Pumpkin Head boss enemy, but luckily he is scaled to be roughly as strong as other local catacomb bosses. This is found in Limgrave, East from the starting location, on the other side of the lake. Sorceress Sellen can be found at the Waypoint Ruins, underground.
